Simplicity is my favorite word

I know I should join Pinterest or Tumblr or Klout or all these things, but honestly, I don't have enough to say or share, I think. Also, I'm not great with online time management and wonder how others balance it. How do you find time to write, have a day job, have a family/friends, and do all the social media stuff? I'm a major multi-tasker, but still...

It's a bit exhausting to me. So today, I'm going to share two simple things that made me smile this week:

This is going to be my life in one year!!!

This is so awesome, I want to squeeze everyone in the world.
Also, next Tuesday, I'm bringing back INSIDE THE AUTHOR'S STUDIO and will have K.M. Walton on my blog and will be giving away a copy of CRACKED. So you all should pop back for that.

I know the feeling. I try really hard to keep up with social mediums, but it's hard. Either I forget to check Twitter, or I forget to blog, etc.

I love that first image. ;)

I'll be back for sure! Love the first pic, so true!

I did sign up for Pinterest and saw what an addiction it might be, so I deleted my account. I can barely keep up with my current social media, so I understand!

It is exhausting. I try to hit all the sites every day or every other day.

Both are great images.

I don't know exactly what Tumblr is and I've never heard of Klout. But I little free time with blogging, FB & Twitter, so I try stay away from additional time stealers.

I'm on Pinterest but I hardly ever do anything on it. Klout says I'm influential on the subject of cookies and pizza so I think I might be doing something wrong there. Though I suppose it could be worse.

I love both images you shared but the meet the author/meet the puppy cartoon made me laugh out loud.

Yes, the secrets of online time management elude me! If someone knows the secret, they must share! I feel so afraid of letting good online connections drop because of TIME! Ack!

As for your life next year: Meet the author, GET a puppy.
Eh?

I have no warning bells for email, or twitter, or facebook or anything.

I have a pinterest account only b/c I'm good friends with my cousins wife, and that's where we "hang"

Sometimes I get distracted, but I get selfish about my writing time, so when all's quiet, I ditch online. Checking twitter and blogs is something I can do amidst the chaos...

man I don't have enough to SAY to have a blog, so that's where tumblr comes in. less pressure (in my opinion) to say stuff. or I can just reblog what someone else said. I AM SO LAZY *cries*
